Fireworks up so high,dazzling me with your bright colors.
When you say, "BOOM!"
some shudder,
some cry,
but not I.
I stay enchanted,
by every crackle and shriek.
Once they all come out,
you know its coming toward an end.
And once the last one dies,
you know its over.
That's what happens,
every 4th of July.
And it will go on,
until the end of time.
